Happy Little Man

Rafael is almost 5 months old, and his personality has really started to shine through. He's always been a happy little baby, but it so much more apparent now that he is awake and alert most of the time. I hope to get a video of him laughing soon, because it's one of the greatest sounds in the world!

Silly puppy, crates are for kids!

I've been looking for an alternative to the packnplay to take with us when we go to Chicago in June. Something that is a little lighter, yet still keeps Michaela contained so that she can't get up and run around the hotel room instead of sleeping. I've looked at lighter mini pack n plays, small tents, and I found this cool little pop up tent/bed: It's really cool, but this is pretty much the same thing & even cheaper:

Know what it is? Basically a dog crate in tent form. Is it bad to put my kid to sleep in a dog crate?

Easter

We had a really great Easter this year. Michaela was actually an angel at church, which is quite rare these days. After Mass, we wen to my sister's house for a BBQ with the whole family.

We even color coded ourselves: Yellow = Girls & Blue = Boys

After Michaela started getting messy in the backyard, we changed her & gave the kids the little easter baskets I made them.

Then we had a little egg hunt, which was hilarious because my nephew (who's Michaela's age) had no idea what to do, Michaela kept stopping to open her eggs, and my niece zoomed around grabbing up the eggs.

They were all proud of their loot afterwards.

Cousin Fun

A couple weekends ago we spent a fun day hanging out with my family at my sisters house.

Then I babysat my niece and nephew later that week. I made a fort out of the kitchen table, which the kids loved!

When my sister got home she decided to play dress-up with Michaela and put make-up all over my TWO YEAR OLD's face. Oy.
