Catching my breath...

Whew, this last week has been crazy! To all my bloggy friends, I'm sorry for the lack of activity here lately, hings in the real world have been stealing all my time away from the blogosphere! Here's what's been going on here in Monkey World.

We sold our house! Yup, we got an offer last week, counter offered and it was accepted. This, after our house was on the market for a whopping 3 weeks! It kinda threw me and my husband off a little bit because we hadn't started searching for houses for ourselves yet! So last week and this week we have been searching Albuquerque and Rio Rancho for a beautiful home that is move in ready in our price range. I've got to tell you, there is not a whole lot out there! Sigh. We will be searching a little bit more tonight, so keep your fingers crossed that we find our dream house! The good thing is that my sister invited us to stay with her until we are able to move into the next home, so we don't have to live on the streets for a couple weeks!

Another thing that's been keeping me busy is that I got a new job. One of the blogs that I read asked for women to sell advertising for them, and I signed up! I like what I'm doing and in a weird way, I'm sort of using my useless English degree. I'm still trying to figure out the balance between working at home and raising baby so if there are any WAHM's out there, please share some advice love!
