With the help of Philip's handyman skills, our office/playroom/craft room is all finished. Here are some pictures of the playroom part.:
All of Michaela's smaller toys are in these clear plastic shoeboxes up out of her reach. When she wants to play with something I'll pull down one or two boxes at a time. If she wants to play with something else, all the toys have to go back in the box and back on the shelf before we get a new box down for her. This helps contain the mess and fixes our problem of having all the toys scattered all over the living room floor. It also helps that it's up out of her reach!
On the top shelf are all her craft supplies (pipe cleaners, fingerpaints, etc.).
On the other top shelf are large canvas bins full of all her big toys that won't fit into the shoeboxes.
I'll show you my crafting part tomorrow!
